MISSION STATEMENT
 
                                                               JDL 613 Brotherhood Mission Statement

 

Founded in late 2024 in the NYC/NJ area, the JDL 613 Brotherhood is a dynamic movement dedicated to combating antisemitism, fostering Jewish pride, and protecting Jewish communities across the United States. Inspired by Rabbi Meir Kahane’s five principles—Jewish pride, self-defense, unity, faith, and action—we unite Jewish men of all backgrounds, secular and Orthodox, Ashkenazi and Mizrahi, to train in self-defense, firearms safety, and physical fitness. Our mission is to safeguard Jewish neighborhoods, synagogues, and events through security patrols, counter-protests, and community volunteering, while promoting pro-Jewish and pro-Israel values.

 

We address the urgent challenges facing Jewish men today, from rising antisemitism—9,354 incidents in 2024 alone—to the mental health crisis, with 80% of suicides and 25% of young men battling loneliness. Through mentorship, Torah study, and group training, we build lifelong friendships and foster physical, mental, and spiritual resilience, redefining the Jewish man as strong, respectful, and unwavering. Our nationwide network, with chapters in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and expanding to the West Coast and South, collaborates with organizations like Betar USA and others  to amplify our impact. Operating within local, state, and federal laws, the JDL 613 Brotherhood is a call to action, ensuring “Never Again” is a reality through a united, empowered Jewish community ready to defend our people, heritage, and future.
