The JDL 613 Brotherhood is a men’s movement founded in 2024 in the NYC/NJ area to strengthen Jewish pride, resilience, and unity. We bring together men of all Jewish backgrounds to grow stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually, while giving back to the community.

Our brotherhood is guided by Rabbi Meir Kahane’s five principles: Love of Jewry (Ahavat Yisrael), Jewish pride (Hadar), self-defense (Barzel), unity (Mishmaat), faith (Bitachon), and action.

We unite Jewish men of all backgrounds, secular and Orthodox, Ashkenazi and Mizrahi, to train in self-defense, firearms safety, and physical fitness. Our mission is to safeguard Jewish neighborhoods, synagogues, and events through security patrols, rallies, counter-protests, and community volunteering, while promoting pro-Jewish and pro-Israel values.

No. Although the JDL 613 Brotherhood is an Orthodox organization we accept Jewish men of all backgrounds—religious and secular, Ashkenazi, Sephardic and Mizrahi—under a shared commitment to pride, strength, and community.

Prospective members can apply through our website or email jdl613enlist@protonmail.com. After an introduction and orientation process, approved members can participate in training, study, and community programs.

Rising antisemitism, the growing loneliness and mental health struggles of young men, and the need for stronger male role models. We provide brotherhood, mentorship, and training to help men grow in every aspect of life.

Our founding chapter is in NYC/NJ and are expanding across the U.S., with chapters in Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Georgia, and developing on the West Coast and South., as well as in Israel.
